The Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival is the largest Indian classical music festival outside India with over 600 participants performing in various competitions spanning many venues. Real time scheduling of competitions and tracking of performances is a huge challenge that has been handled manually over the years.

Lunaria Software worked closely with the Event committee in understanding the system requirements and use cases and architected a software platform that would allow event coordinators make scheduling changes and update performance statuses. These updates would be available in real-time, to all the event participants on their iOS and Android mobile devices.

The team at Lunaria Software designed and developed the iOS version of the app and was responsible for end-to-end system architecture and interface definitions. Lunaria worked closely with WisomdomLeaf Technologies that developed the web services backend, the coordinator website and the Android version of the app.
The resulting solution, which was the first of its kind deployed at the festival won accolades from event coordinators and participants alike and was a huge success.
